Day 01: Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai - the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country. On arrival at Chennai Airport meet our representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in, overnight stay in Chennai hotel.

Day 02: Chennai – Sightseeing tour
After breakfast, proceed for a guided tour in Chennai visiting Anna Salai, Marine Beach, Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore Temple and Kapaleshwaran Temple, stay overnight at Chennai hotel.

Day 03: Chennai – Tirupathi (160 kms. / 03 hours drive)
After breakfast drive to Tirupathi. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for a visit to the famous temple of Lord Venkateshwara on the top of the Tirumala hills. This temple is believed to be the oldest temple in the country and is the richest temple too, stay overnight at Tirupathi hotel.

Day 04: Tirupathi – Vellore – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (250 kms/5 hours)
After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram. En-route stops at Vellore to visit Jalakandeswarar Temple, Vellore Fort and Sripuram Golden Temple. Next we will visit Kanchipuram. This city was the ancient capital of the Pallavas and was known for its 1000 temples, many of them are still used to this day. Here we will visit to Sri Kamakshi Temple. The city is today well known for the silks it produces. Further, continue to Mahabalipuram and check in to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 05: Mahabalipuram – Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour in Mahabalipuram earlier known as Mahabalipuram. This city was a port during the Pallava period. It has some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in South India. It is also home to the famous Shore Temple that is unique because Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu are housed in the same sanctum sanctorum, stay overnight at Mahabalipuram hotel. 

Day 06: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (130 kms. / 2.5 hours drive)
Morning, drive to Pondicherry; a French State in India and still retains French feeling. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later visit to Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10 kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter. Later visit to Auroville - a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony, stay overnight at Pondicherry hotel.

Day 07: Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Kumbakonam – Tanjour (175 kms. / 05 hours drive)
After breakfast, drive to Tanjour, en-route visit to Nataraja Temple “Dedicated to Lord Shiva as a cosmic dancer” at Chidambaram. The temple postures from the Bharatnatayam form of dance are depicted in sculpture, later visit to the Temple Town; Kumbakonam. It is known for its age old temples including famous Kumbeswarar and Sarangapani Temples. Further continue to Tanjour and upon arrival, check-in to the hotel, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Tanjour – Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a guided tour in Tanjour visiting Brahadeswara Temple (Big Temple).The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 mts and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts. Afternoon; leave for an excursion to Trichy, situated on the banks of Kaveri river is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim centre, it is famous for Ranganath Temple at Srirangam. Also visit to the Rock fort, Srirangam and Jambukeshwar Temple and stay overnight at Tanjour hotel.

Day 09: Tanjour – Madurai (130 kms. / 03 hours drive)
After breakfast; drive to Madurai; an ancient city of 2600 years old situated at the banks of river Vaigai.Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for a guided tour in Madurai visiting Meenakshi Temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank and Gandhi Museum, stay overnight at Madurai Hotel.

Day 10: Madurai – Excursion to Rameshwaram (170 kms. /3.5 hours drive)
After breakfast; proceed for a full day excursion to Rameshwaram; the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Lanka. Here we will visit Ramanatha Swamy Temple; one of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines. Later return back to Madurai, stay overnight at Madurai at Hotel.

Day 11: Bijapur – Hyderabad (370 Kms/ 6.5 hrs)
After breakfast leave for a long drive to Hyderabad; The Pearl City on arrival check-in to the hotel and later day free at leisure for own activities, stay overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 12: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (80 Kms. / 2 hours drive)
After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for a guided tour in Trivandrum visiting Ananthapadmanabha Sway Temple and Shitralaya Art Gallery, stay overnight at Trivandrum hotel.

Day 13: Trivandrum – Departure
After breakfast  transfer to Trivandrum airport to board the flight for your onward journey back to home with illustrious memory of Bliss India Tours
