Shiva, in the form of a lingam, is formed naturally of an ice - stalagmite one of the holy trinity, Shiva is a living god. The most ancient and sacred book of India, the Rig Veda evokes his presence in its hymns. Vedic myths, ritual and even astronomy testify to his existence from the dawn of time.

Shiva is known to have made his home in the Himalayas. He built no house nor shelter, not for himself or his bride. He was an ascetic, and yet married; he could be both for "he was the wild god sporting in the forest or taking his ease on a cloud."

Legend has it that Shiva recounted to Parvati the secret of creation in the Amarnathji cave. Unknown to them, a pair of mating pigeons eavesdropped on this conversation and having learned the secret, are reborn again and again, and have made the cave their eternal abode. Many pilgrims report seeing the pigeons-pair when they trek the arduous route to pay obeisance before the ice-lingam (the phallic symbol of Shiva).

Day 01: Arrive Srinagar - Sonmarg (02 ½ Hrs Drive)
Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet with our company representative or Driver and transfer to Sonmarg, on your arrival check in at hotel rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight.

Day 02: Sonmarg - Balthal - Amarnath Cave - Srinagar
Early in the morning transfer to Balthal (45 Minutes drive). On arrival reach at Helipad to board flight to Panjtarni. Arrive Panjtarni then trek (06 Kms) to Holy Amarnath cave. After performing Darshan return back to Balthal for continues drive to Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar check in at hotel or houseboat stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Return back to your home
After breakfast to make a good use of time available you can visit Srinagar later transfer to Airport to board flight back to home with blessing of Baba Amarnath Yatra.

Note: Helicopter Fares are subject to change / any change in the package subject to natural calamity or any subject to enforce is to be paid by the traveling passenger at the time of travel enroute.

Due to Bad Weather Helicopter flight is cancelled, next day's accommodation has to be taken care by the guest directly. Assistance can be given by our staff at sonamarg and Transportation would be charged Rs 2000 extra per day by our staff at sonamarg. 

The Schedule flight is cancelled due to bad weather or technical reasons, advance booked passenger would get the priority next day. 

A helicopter ticket has to be stamped & signed by the officials of the Helicopter operator's at Baltal or Srinagar for full refund.
